Dermatoscopy of facial non-pigmented actinic keratosis regarding to grades of the lesions

Editor The importance of dermatoscopy in the differential diagnosis of melanocytic and non-melanocytic pigmented lesions has gradually increased in dermatology. There are some publications on dermatoscopic evaluation of actinic keratose lesions. In this study, we aimed to examine dermatoscopic findings for patients thought to have non-pigmented facial AK and the relationship between dermoscopic findings and the clinical grades of AK lesions. Thirty-six patients (27 were males and 9 were females), over the age of 18, clinically and histopafhologically diagnosed as AK enrolled in our study. Clinical characteristics, localizations and dermatoscopic images of lesions were recorded.
