摘要

We exactly solve the model of N harmonic interacting Bosons in a harmonic trap in any dimension. The exact ground state wavefunction, free energy, spectrum, and low excitation states are calculated. The finite particle number effect is addressed when the exact solution is compared with a mean field solution. Then we compare the harmonic interaction system with a pseudo-potential interaction system. In spite of the seemingly quite different nature of interaction, several similarities are found between the two systems. [References: 13]
