摘要

The transmission process of microorganism biochemistry was applied to the microbial fuel cell system (MFCs) of Escherichia coli to carry the energy conversion. Different kinds of proton exchange membranes with PTFE-Nafion, Nation 211, 212 and 117 would be used to investigate the effect upon the electricity performance of MFCs in this study. Results show that the best performance of MFCs with 340 mW/m~2 will be produced by using Nafion 117 for studied cases. These findings will be useful for the improvement in the performance of MFCs.
