To the Editor: Adverse skin reactions caused by selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors have raised concern since widespread use of these drugs for treating depression. These skin reactions include fluoxetine-induced Stevens-Johnson syndrome, sertraline-induced severe deep skin necrosis, and fluvoxamine-induced toxic epidermal necrolysis.
