By computer-aided modeling we have calculated the thermostressed state of cells of cylinder-piston and recessed-anvil high pressure apparatuses employed for treating samples of high-temperature superconductors to determine the effect of physical characteristics of the cell materials on the distribution of temperature and temperature stresses in the cell.
