BASF consolidates NA paint manufacturing

BASF will consolidate its coatings manufacturing operations in North America by discontinuing production of automotive liquid coatings at its Morganton,NC site and moving production to facilities in Decatur,AL,Greenville,OH,Tultitlan,Mexico and Windsor,Ontario.The transfer begins this month,with the shutdown of liquid coatings operations in Morganton scheduled for June 30.
