Producers of titanium dioxide in Europe are pushing hard for price increases in the region amidst warnings of a severe tightening of the supply/demand balance.But coatings manufacturers are resisting the rises more fiercely than in other global regions.They reckon that factors like foreign exchange rates and benign titanium dioxide (TiO_2) feedstock costs call for lower increases than the pigment producers want.
