A Canadian on Capitol Hill

I am a physician graduate year 4 resident in radiology at Universite Laval in Quebec City, Canada As a representative on the resident committee of the Canadian Association of Radiology, I was sent along with Richard Bitar, the committee's chair, to the ACR meeting in Washington, DC. I really enjoyed the meeting, which proved to be an eye-opener for me. I got a close look at the American political system as it influences health care.
