Retooling nuclear medicine education in diagnostic radiology: Interactive strategies using audience response system technology

Beginning in 2013, the ABR launched a new image-rich, computer-based core examination of die future that will be taken by all candidates in diagnostic radiology (DR). The nuclear medicine (NM) clinical content is organized around 10 organ-system domains (breast, cardiac, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, neurologic, pediatrics, reproductive and endocrine, thoracic, urinary, and vascular). Additional nonclinical content will test candidates on nuclear physics and ra-dioisotope safety [1].
