Lessons Learned, Lessons Shared: What Pharmacy Needs To Do To Make the Most of the Profession

While being recognized for something as prestigious as the Prescott/GlaxoSmithKline Award is quite an honor, accepting the award is a bit awkward for me. You see, being "awarded" for simply doing the things that I am passionate about, that I enjoy doing, and that I frankly cannot keep myself from doing just seems strange. As with most other recipients of awards like this, none of what I do is motivated out of hopes that I will someday be awarded for my efforts. Rather, I do what I do simply because it fits with what I see as my core purpose in life: To be constantly challenged and learn new things, to leave the world at least a little better off than it was when I got here, and to have fun in those pursuits.
