摘要

Based on an analysis of the experimental data on the charge distributions of ions in gases and solids, the analytical parameterization of the width of the charge distribution as a function of the energy, the average equilibrium ion charge, ion nuclear charge, and nuclear charge of target atom has been obtained. The proposed relations are applicable in a broad energy range and describe the existing experimental data satisfactorily.
