BASF Opens New Lutropur MSA Plant

BASF has opened a new 10,000 metric ton per year methanesulfonic acid (MSA) plant in Ludwigshafen,Germany to serve the North American metal electroplating,electronic component and chemical industries.The new plant produces Lutropur MSA,a colorless and odorless product that is essentially free of chlorine and metals.
