PPG Industries' automotive refinish business recently introduced Ditzler Big Flake pigments to its Vibrance Collection finishes line of custom colors and special effect coatings. Ditzler Big Flake pigments comprise six large, metallic flakes that produce a "retro" look when added to a basecoat or clearcoat finish. The new Ditzler Big Flake pigments are available in silver, gold and four color-shifting options—green to purple, blue to red, red to gold and gold to silver.
