摘要

In this paper, we reported the fabrication of alumina nanofibers through the electrospinning method. In this process, aluminum nitrate and PVA were first dissolved in water to form the spinning solution, which was then electrospun into aluminum nitrate/PVA hybrid fibers. And alumina nanofibers were obtained after the calcinations of the hybrid fibers. The morphology of the alumina fibers were examined with SEM, and their crystalline structure was characterized using XRD. In addition, we found the diameter of the alumina fibers is controllable by tuning the concentration of PVA, the amount of ethanol added into the spinning solutions.
