CPCA MEETS WITH ENVIRONMENT CANADA CONCERNING 2-BE

The Canadian Paint and Coatings Association(CPCA)had what it feels is a successful meeting with Environment Canada(EC)on Friday,Oct.7,2005.CPCA's Jules Lizotte describes it as "a good meeting" and says EC was "receptive" to the association's concerns about the government's intention to regulate products that contain 2-butoxyethanol(2-BE).EC is focusing on products used by the public consumer.
