Metal finishers across Canada have similar environmental requirements for their business operations. Since metal finishing operations are traditionally large consumers of raw materials (energy, water, chemicals), there is a large amount of costly, non-value added product to address at the end of pipe: waste. These wastes are air emissions, wastewater effluent, liquid industrial wastes and hazardous waste sludges.
