摘要

A new, efficient extraction chromatography method was developed for separating Np-239 from Am-243 in nitric acid solution. While Am-243 in 0.1 M HNO3 was loaded on the HDEHP extraction chromatographic column, Np-239 passed through the column and was collected. Am-243 was eluted from the column using 1 M HNO3 and stocked for milking again. A process based on second-milking was recommended in the present work to prepare high purity Np-239 tracer. The separation procedure is rapid and effective, and the radiochemical purity of (23)9Np higher than 99.98 % makes it is suitable for the preparation of Np-239 tracer which can be used for determination of ultra level Np-237 in the environment.
