摘要

A method for manganese determination in iron concentrates by reactor activation analysis has been developed, on the basis of discounting the contribution of the Fe-56(n,p)Mn-56 to the total Mn-56 activity through the Mn-56/Mn-54 activity ratio, employing the data on the nuclear constants involved. The possibility of using Fe-59 as internal monitor, for the calculation of manganese concentration, is evaluated for different values of both the ratios and the alpha parameter.
