Educational effects of robot contests

摘要

Tracing robot contests cover a great variety. Fabricating robots to participate in these contests and achieve good results necessitates acquiring divers types of special mechatronics technology. Setting participation in a robot contest as aconcrete objective positively influences education because students become willingly to set about fabricating robots by acquiring technical knowledge. This paper presents an example of mechatronics education implemented by participation in a robot contest.
