Tikkurila builds EUR20m paints logistics centre in Moscow

TIKKURILA, the paints and coatings business of Finland's Kemira Group, is to bolster its position in Russia with a new logistics and service centre in Moscow. Schedueld to open in the summer of 2008 and costing approximately EUR20 million, the centre will have a total floor area of 10,000 m2. It is to be built in Mytish, Moscow. Kemira Coatings has been exporting paints and coatings to Russia for decades under the Tikkurila brand name. The company also has local production in the country in six paint factories. These products are sold under the names of Finncolor and Teks among others.
