I very much appreciate his comments on our topic related to the use of the Frontalis-Orbicularis Oculi Muscle (FOOM) flap to correct severe or recurrent blepharoptosis. The technique of the levator plication or shortening is still a good choice for the correction of mild or moderate blepharoptosis. And of course, the reattachment of the levator palpebrae superioris muscle is no doubt the ideal treatment for the senile blepharoptosis.
