Polyurethane sales helped drive a 5.4% rise in second quarter sales to euro2.883bn at Bayer MaterialScience.Business growth was mainly volume driven,with the polyurethanes and coatings-adhesives-sealants business being the major contributors.Underlying EBITDA was up 3.2% to euro489m.
