Momentive acquires Dynea's 50% stake in Australian forest products JV

The Australian subsidiary of Momentive Specialty Chemicals has bought out Dynea's 50% share in a joint venture that supplies urea formaldehyde resins and other products to industrial customers in Western Australia - 2011 sales in the 30-man business reached $30 million. The other half of the joint venture is owned by Laminex, a manufacturer of premium decorative surfaces in Australia and New Zealand. Laminex also makes raw wood panels.
