Durr builds more paint shops in China for growing automotive industry

Durr is building a modern paint shop in Yizheng, on the eastern coast of China, for SVW Shanghai, the joint venture between the Volkswagen Group and the Chinese Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation. The plant will be one of the most environmentally friendly plants in China and will use Durr's EcoDryScrubber dry separation method that reduces energy consumption by up to 60% compared to conventional spray booths. Fresh water and coagulant chemicals are not needed with this process. It will have a rotating dip-coating system.
