摘要

The present investigation was carried out to study the effect of infrared radiation on 16 infected wounds treated with infrared rays for 20 min. once daily for 15 days. Culture of swabs from wounds on 2nd and 7th post treatment day revealed absence ofmicrobial growth on nutrient media. Grossly early regression of inflammation, early filling of gape and early appearance of granulation tissue suggested its wound healing properties.
