Sheen parent becomes part of Elektron Ventures

The parent company of UK-based Sheen Instruments, Hart-est Precision Instruments, has been acquired by Elektron, a technology and engineering based group quoted on the AIM list of the London Stock Exchange. Elektron secured most of the shares of Hartest in September last year and is in the process of integrating the Hartest group of businesses into Elektron's Ventures business division. Elektron's chairman, Keith Daley, said in the group's half-year trading statement: "The existing Elektron businesses will benefit from Hartest's established presence in India, whilst the Hartest companies will be able to leverage our extensive presence in other geographies."
