INTRODUCTION. All materials and products age under the simultaneous effect of primary and secondary weather factors (Fig. 1). This weather-related aging is reflected initially in microscopic, and later in macroscopic observable, material changes. The basic chemical and physical processes are usually irreversible and lead ultimately to product failure.
