DESIGN OF KNITTED FABRIC REINFORCED COMPOSITES

The authors focused on designing the mechanical properties of knitted fabrics as reinforcement and knitted structural composites, including warp knit and weft knit. Two parts are described in this paper: one is the design of the deformed state of knitted fabric as the reinforcement in knitted structural composites; the other is the concept of design of parameters which influence the mechanical properties of knitted structural composites.
