Within the scope of a research project conducted at the Institute of Leather and Plastic Sheeting (FILK) basic research into UV-curing powder lacquer coating of floor coverings and leather was accomplished. The goal was to find out whether the currently customary UV-curing powder lacquers or test samples are appropriate for high level coatings on floor coverings and leather.
