摘要

A series of combliice polysiloxanes (QPEPSs) with pendant quaternary ammonium polyether groups were synthesized by hydrosilylation of polymethylhydrosiloxane (PHMS) with ally! polyether epoxy (APEE500) first and then quatemization of the resultant epoxy polyether polysiloxane (PESO) with N, N-dimethyldodecylamine (DMDA). Chemical structure and physical-chemical properties of the synthesized QPEPSs were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum (NMR), surface tensiometer, Zeta potential analyzer, and so on. And the antibacterial activity was especially studied in the paper. As expected, QPEPSs were easily emulsified into a clear, uniform micro-emulsion with a mean size of about 25 69 nm. The Zeta potential of the QPEPS microemulsions were +22.8 mV +47.6 mV. The fabrics treated by QPEPSs displayed good wettiability and excellent antibacterial activity against both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia colt. And their diameter of inhibition zones were 11 19 cm against S. aureus and E. coll. Besides, the fabrics treated by QPEPSs demonstrated the ability to eliminate up to 99 % of both S. aureus and E. coli.
