To control an efficient and quality-oriented production, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are indispensable in many areas of production. The MES manages and optimizes production processes. It collects important information for process analysis, such as process times, product IDs, process parameters, time stamps, machine status, etc. Continuous process monitoring provides a sustainable advantage in terms of traceability, product liability, process stability and consequently a continuous product development.
