The Dow Chemical Company (Midland, MI) has announced that the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiary, Petrochemicals Industries Company (PIC), notified Dow of the Kuwait Supreme Petroleum Councils (SPC) decision to reverse its prior approval of an agreement between the American and Kuwaiti companies. The SPC had initially okayed a DowPIC joint venture, K Dow Petrochemicals.

The collaborations analysed span academia, civil society and government, from the grassroots to the national and global levels.
