The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet recently awarded three bridge painting contracts to two contractors.The contracts involve abrasive blast cleaning and recoating eight existing structural steel bridges.The existing coatings may contain lead and will be handled as haz ardous materials with Class 2A containment according to SSPC Guide 6.
