THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF EXTRUDED FEED UPON THE BIOCHEMICAL INDICES OF GROWING UP CARPS (CYPRINUS CARPIO L.)

Brabender "20 DN" (Germany) laboratory single screw extruder with 20 mm diameter of screw, was used for the production feeds with constant protein level of 32%, which is standard for growing up carp, differ in fundamental physical properties (densityand index of expansion). Both types of extruded feed were of the type floating and sinking, and are produced under different extrusion conditions - temperature and pressure The effect of different physical properties upon the biochemical characteristicsof growing up carps has been investigated. The values of blood serum indices traced: total proteins, blood glucose and albumins and of carp body indices traced: water, proteins, fats and mineral salts have reflected the specific balance of substances asa result of nutrition without reporting any deviations in physiological norms.
