During the period 2003-2006 an experiment was carried out with table Seedless Hybrid VI-4 with a purpose to define optimal crop load for producing of high-quality grapes under the conditions of South Black-Sea Region Three variants of crop load were studied - control variant Vk - 24 buds (1 fruit cane with 14 buds and 5 spurs with 2 buds), V1 - 34 buds (2 fruit canes with 14 buds and 3 spurs with 2 buds) and V2 -40 buds (2 fruit canes with 14 buds and 6 spurs with 2 buds).Vines were trained as stem double Gyujot, grown under no-irrigation regime and in stage of active fruitage. With increased crop load the higher number of bunches formed on fruit canes result higher yield. By, reason of vigorous growth of this cultivar the high crop load does not affect significantly on the massiveness and sugar/acids content in grapes. High yields of qualitative Hybrid Vul 4 table grapes in this experiment can be produced under 2 fruit canes pruning! system. Higher crop load adjust the!vigorous growth of shoots and it result! higher fertility of winter buds in sector 3-rd! - 9-th bud at full length of fruit cane. This cultivar can be successfully! included in vine plantations for intensive! producing of qualitative table grapes for fresh consumption.
