In a field experiment during the period of 2010 - 2013 in southeast Bulgaria estimation the influence of predecessor and fertilization on the productivity of six rowed barley variety Gerlah was researched. The randomized complete block design with 4 replications and 25 m2 plot size was applied. The growing of plants was performed in compliance with the standard technology.The sowing was made with 450 seeds/m2 after three predecessor -sunflower, wheat and coriander and three rates of fertilization - N_(80)P_(8o), N_(12o)P_(80), NieoPso and control N(0P_0 The investigation aim was to establish the effect of predecessor andrates of fertilization on the structural elements and the yield of six rowed barley variety Gerlah in south-east Bulgaria.For the purpose of determining the quantity dependence between the studied indicators, the experimental data was processed according to the Anova Method of dispersion analysis, and the differences between the variants were determined by means of the Dunkan's Multiple Range Test.The analysis of the results show that the most suitable predecessor for six rowed barley variety Gerlah under the conditions of south-east Bulgaria is coriander, followed by sunflower and wheat. The most effective fertilization rates are N_(120)P_(80) with predecessor coriander and N_(160)P_(80) with sunflower and wheat.
