摘要

A sensitive and accurate high-performance thin-layer chromato-graphic method has been developed, validated, and used for quantification of isovitexin in dried whole-plant powder of Enicostemma littorale Blume. Chromatographic separation was performed on silica gel plates with acetonitrile-water, 6.0:4.0 (v/v), as mobile phase. Detection and quantitation were performed by densitometry, with a deuterium lamp, at 350 nm. The response to isovitexin reference standard was linear in the concentration range of 100-400 ng per band. The method was validated for precision and accuracy. The relative standard deviation for instrumental precision, intra-assay precision, and intermediate precision was <2%. The percentage recovery was 99.76. This method can be used for routine quality control analysis of the whole-plant powder of E. littorale Blume.
