Production cross sections of N similar or equal to Z nuclei in the region around A similar or equal to 80

The projectile fragmentation of Mo-92 at Elab = 500 A MeV has been studied at the European large-scale facility SIS/FRS at GSI, Darmstadt, Germany. The produced isotopes have been identified in Z and A numbers by using the B rho-Delta E-TOF method. The results of the isotopic production cross sections will be presented. The data will be used to test the predictive power of the empirical parametrizations (EPAX) and fragmentation models (ABRABLA) to determine production cross sections. The measured data provide a precise knowledge of the expected production rates of secondary beams of N similar or equal to Z nuclei via projectile fragmentation.
