摘要

Experimental values of the electron impact coherence parameters for excitation of the 5 1 P, state of cadmium atoms are reported along with relativistic distorted-wave approximation calculations. The electron-photon coincidence technique has been used in measurements for incident electron energy 100 eV and at scattering angles 10degrees, 15degrees, 20degrees, 30degrees and 40degrees. Theoretical results are in good qualitative agreement with experimental data. [References: 20]
