EdP books January Colombian capesize, US panamax

Energias de Portugal (EdP) has booked a capesize of Colombian coal and a panamax of US coal for January delivery at an average premium of just under 2/mt to the API2 (CIF ARA) index, according to market sources. The Portuguese generator said the capesize would be discharged at Sines where it has a 1,200-MW coal-fired plant, while the panamax was destined for Gijon in Spain.
