President-elect Barack Obama said on Tuesday that the country under his administration will "once again engage vigorously" in international talks designed to develop a post- Kyoto Protocol agreement to slash greenhouse gas emissions. In taped remarks scheduled to be delivered at a US Governors' Global Climate Summit in Los Angeles, Obama said the US "cannot meet this [climate change] challenge alone. Solving this problem will require all of us working together."
