摘要

Microlenses and microlens arrays with a diameter smaller than several millimeters are key elements in optical devices with growing miniaturization.The liquid crystal(LC)microlenses and microlens arrays could be a new type of planar microlens composed of LC materials and driven by an electric field and optical field.Recently,we developed a novel fabrication method of planar microlens arrays by using photoinduced reorientation of dye-doped LC system and successive photopolymerization with a single light source.However,we could not obtain a free-standing film with microlens arrays because the main component are low-molecular LCs.
