Indianapolis P&L asks bids on two coals

Indianapolis Power & Light is accepting proposals through July 27 on up to 300,000 short tons/year of 11,800-11,600 Btu/lb, 1.5-2.5 lbs SO2/MMBtu coal and up to 1 million st/year of 11,200 Btu/lb, 3.2 lbs sulfur/MMBtu coal. Both coals are for use at the utility's Petersburg station, located north of Petersburg, Indiana, on Highway 57; the Harding Street station, on the south side of Indianapolis on Highway 37; and the Eagle Valley station, on the west side of Martinsville on Blue Bluff Road.
