CSX and members of a major locomotive union have ratified a three-year contract that would tie future wage increases to the railroad's financial performance. Under the new performance bonus-based agreement, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen members will receive a one-time 3 wage increase this year and a 2,500 dollars signing bonus, but more pay increases could become available based on company performance over the life of the agreement, which goes into effect this year.
