Adolescent survivors of childhood cancer belong to a growing and vulnerable special population. An estimated 12,060 children 0-14 years of age are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in 2012 with incidence rates having increased slightly, but consistently each year since 1975 (American Cancer Society, 2012).
