Practice Makes Perfect-Research Makes Perfect Practice

摘要

RESEARCH IS CONDUCTED to identify best practices and improve the quality of nursing care-to perfect clinical practice. To improve the quality of nursing practice, clinical" problems are identified from practice, then programs are developed to address these clinical problems, and the effectiveness of these programs is tested through research. This systematic research process generates new evidence that is translated back to clinical practice with the goal of improving the quality of nursing care. Thus, this interrelationship between clinical practice and nursing research is critical to the establishment of best practices.
