Patriot Coal's disclosure statement - a key document in the producer's reorganization plan - will be filed by October 2 and go before its bankruptcy court for approval on November 6, the company said Wednesday. The St. Louis-based company, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in July 2012, produced about 24 million short tons of metallurgical and thermal coal in 2012.
