Weatherford's new PowerStroke milling system saved a well from plug and abandonment and restored production.The problem was two subsidence-induced doglegs:the top of the upper dogleg was at a depth of 314 ft and was 17 ft long,and the top of the lower dogleg was at 636 ft with an estimated length of 19 ft.The doglegs had forced shutdown of the pump jack that used conventional sucker rods,resulting in the well being listed for plugging and abandonment.
