Donkin coal developer touts JV interest

Erdene Resource Development is drawing interest from potential joint venture partners in the $500 million Donkin Coal Project proposed for Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, a company official said Monday. Ken MacDonald, Erdene vice president of business strategy, said in an interview his company remains interested in Donkin, which would produce about 3.6 million short tons of coking-quality and steam coal annually.
