NYSE suspends Patriot Coal trading, moves to delist miner

A day after eastern US producer Patriot Coal filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the New York Stock Exchange announced Tuesday that it will start proceedings to delist PCX common stock. Trading in Patriot's common stock will be suspended immediately, NYSE said in an announcement. In Tuesday morning trading, at a volume of 6,100 shares, a trickle of the previous day's volume, PCX stood at 27 cents, down 34 cents/share, or more than 55%.
